Music Program

Music at St. Michael’s is rooted in the Anglican tradition and includes a wide array of musicians, organists, choir members, vocal soloists, and instrumentalists who contribute greatly to our worship services and community events. Our music ministry exists to enrich our worship through excellence in music, to encourage congregational participation, and to foster a vibrant musical community.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir sings weekly from September through Trinity Sunday. Its repertoire includes a wide range of sacred music, featuring motets and anthems from the Renaissance to contemporary works and spirituals. Four Choral Associates assist the choir in learning and presenting music and also offer occasional solos.

The choir supports both Sunday and special seasonal services throughout the year, including Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter

We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm, September through May, and always welcome new members. Contact our Director of Music, Justin Bays, for more information.

Bell Choir

Our Bell Choir rehearses weekly from September through Trinity Sunday on Thursdays from 6:00-6:50 pm. All are welcome, regardless of ringing experience. We enjoy learning new pieces and techniques together in a supportive environment.

Saturday Services

Music for our Saturday services is thoughtfully selected to support worship in a more intimate and reflective setting. These services may include piano, organ, vocal leadership, soloists, or other instrumental offerings depending on the season and liturgy.
