Claudia Hannaford Library
The St. Michael’s Church library was lovingly cared for and grew through the efforts of Claudia Hannaford, wife of former rector Rev. Paul E. Hannaford (1979-1992). Upon Mrs. Hannaford’s death in 1996 the library was named in her honor. At this same time, a fund was established with the Toledo Community Foundation for the purchase of future books, tapes and resource materials. With the age of the Internet the use of libraries has changed significantly, however, St. Michael’s is committed to keeping an active, readable library for its parishioners. In addition to adding new books to the library the fund has also purchased new prayer books, hymnals and bibles for the church.
